Review of the Application and Development of Intelligent Perception in the New Power System

  • For the new power system with a high proportion of renewable energy grid connection,power electronicization and wide-area interconnection,traditional single-parameter and discrete point monitoring is difficult to meet the requirements of millisecond-level transient response,high-precision measurement and intelligent diagnosis of complex power equipment.The acquisition of power grid status is accelerating its evolution towards an intelligent perception paradigm that is multi-physical,multi-scale,multi-modal and collaborative.Centering on this trend,first of all,systematically sort out the typical applications of new energy equipment on the power generation side,main equipment of power transmission and transformation,and power distribution and consumption terminals,and summarize the key technologies such as new magnetic sensitive materials,optical fiber sensing,micro-electro-mechanical systems(MEMS)sensing and self-energy extraction.And the latest progress in multi-parameter integration and intelligent signal processing.Secondly,the engineering bottlenecks are summarized from aspects such as adaptability to harsh environments,cost and power consumption,massive data transmission and processing,network security and standardization.It is pointed out that high-reliability sensitive materials and new mechanism sensors,miniaturization and ultra-low power consumption design,multi-modal fusion and edge intelligence,and industrial ecosystem construction are the key development directions.Research shows that the new power system urgently needs to deploy highly reliable,miniaturized and self-powered intelligent sensing terminals on a large scale,and work in coordination with key supporting technologies such as edge computing to build a safe and efficient panoramic online perception and measurement system for power status.
