Abstract:
As artificial intelligence deeply permeates the physical world, embodied intelligence—a cutting-edge technology that integrates physical entities with intelligent algorithms—breaks through the limitations of traditional disembodied intelligence, propelling intelligent systems from virtual cognition to physical interaction, becoming one of the core development directions for the future terminal manufacturing industry. According to data from the China Embodied Intelligence Industry Development Report (2026), China's embodied intelligence market has emerged as one of the fastest-growing global growth poles. From 2018 to 2026, the annual compound growth rate of China's embodied intelligence market reached 22% to 23%, forming a tightly interconnected industrial ecosystem led by humanoid robots, centered around dexterous hands, and supported by force and tactile sensing. Force sensing technology, as a core technical support, is pivotal for enabling fine manipulation and compliant interaction in intelligent agents, spanning the closed-loop cycle of perception-decision-execution, facilitating the transition from "capable operation" to "skilled operation." Based on this, by analyzing the current development status of embodied intelligence and force sensing technology, combined with practical application scenarios in the terminal manufacturing industry, this study explores the breakthrough applications and industrial value of embodied intelligence force sensing technology, aiming to drive the transformation and upgrading of the equipment manufacturing industry and enhance the intelligent level of the terminal manufacturing sector.
